U.S. Student Protests Thus Far in 2013

All photo cred goes to the incredible National Student Power Convergence
https://www.facebook.com/studentpower2013

As some of you may remember, last year I published a “List of 2012 Student Protests Regarding Education in the U.S.” list. Since this post was such a huge hit and received a lot of continuous support last year, I knew I had to make sure I did it again. This year I wanted to take it further than just issues regarding education, and include all the beautiful student power. Especially with the National Student Power Convergence coming up in August, I knew I had to get this list out there soon hoping as many of these students can make it out to Wisconsin this summer. With that being said, all of you–students and student allies–should check it out, register, and attend if you can! I wouldn’t be who I am without it, and you can read why here.

Well, moving right along, here is a quick summary  of the list and the list itself right below organized by category. I know for sure I must be missing some actions (the only ones on this list are actions students reported to me, as well as the ones I could find with Google). So, if you know of an action that’s not included here, please e-mail me ASAP with the deetz so I can get it up (SRRivera92@gmail.com).

Alright, well I’ll stop rambling and give you the goods after one more thing. To all the fellow students reading this, thank you for all the trouble-making, organizing, and agitating you all are doing to fight for a better world. Love & solidarity forever, and I can’t wait to reunite and meet all of you in August.

  1. What a great list, thank you for putting this together! I just thought I’d mention it lists the Cooper occupation as May 8-11. The president’s office at Cooper Union is still currently being occupied, 47 days later!

  2. Hence, in order to have the valid discount codes, you
should review its online store. Is it because you don’t know how to find good deals
on the internet. People will become more
inclined to test a product if they’re due to the possibility to purchase it with a
    reduced price.
